Let's Play  The Sims 3 Ambitions and Late Night was a sequel to Damo2986's LP of The Sims 3 World Adventures featuring the Jones family (from the previous LP). Since the first LP the family moved away from their home in Sunset Valley to the big city of Bridgeport.

The LP followed the life of Michael Jones (son of Evan and Jamie Jones) and the characters from the previous LP. During this LP Evan and Jamie Jones passed away and there were a couple of new additions to the Jones family, first a robot named Jeremy Jones (later renamed into Johnny 5 Jones) and then Jun Yu, she was dating Michael Jones most the LP. Towards the end of the LP Michael and Jun got married and had a daughter named Maya. Michael climbed the top of the Movie career path as an actor, while Johnny earned money writing books for a weekly payment. For a short time Jun was employed as a stylist but soon retired. The LP ended as Jun aged up into an elder.

The LP's sequel, Let's Play: The Sims 3 Generations and Pets, features all of the characters listed above (with the obvious exceptions of Jamie and Evan).
